Noetic Math Announcement

A-Stem 5 just got our awards for a recent competition and I have an announcement to please post:

On April 20th, select 5th grade students from Coral Academy Windmill led by A-

Stem 5 advisor Mr. Hambleton competed in the Spring Noetic Learning Math Competition (NLMC).  The NLMC is a semiannual problem-solving contest for elementary and middle school students. The goal of the competition is to encourage students' interest in math, to develop their problem solving skills, and to inspire them to excel in math.

More than 31,700 students across the United States took part in this contest.   As a team, the students of Coral Academy Windmill finished in the top 10% of the schools and received a Team Achievement Award.

The following students placed in the top 3 for Coral Academy Windmill and earned National Honor Roll recognition for scoring in the top 10% nationally.

·         1st Place – Joseph D. and Mihika N. 

·         2nd Place- Crystal Z.

·         3rd Place – Pradyumna A. and Joshua C.

 

The following students also earned National Honorable Mention recognition for their outstanding scores:
